Airport Cities + TOD

Well-accessible urban areas and CBDs will win the economic competition: too many cities today are congested in such a way that businesses move elsewhere, and people get sick and worse of the smog. Airport connectivity and public transport connectivity are often the spill for this connectivity. Together with our colleagues from NACO (world-renowned Airport planners), and our Transport consultants, our planners and designers design Airport Cities and TODs, for Airport Authorities and governments, and private parties.

Airport cities
– as Industrial parks, but with good air-connectivity as well
– NACO as daughter of RHDHV: world-renowned airport planners

TOD / accessibility
– transit oriented development: synergy of multi modal accessible strategic locations in the city
– strategic phasing
– PPP / financial constellation with private parties, also giving revenues / quality improvement back to the people of the city

Better Access for Randstad, the Netherlands

Accessibility and quality of life in a part of the Randstad, the area around the river Gouwe, is under pressure. The Gouwe is an important water way for both commercial and leisure shipping, and the numerous bridge openings and closures lead to delays both on the waterway and traffic jams on the intersecting roads.
